“Crows like to have a high vantage point. At my studio across the street there was a tall sycamore tree. Around mid-morning every morning, there was a murder of crows that gathered high up in the tree, cawing and commenting on the coming and goings in the neighborhood. They eventually seeped into my paintings.” FXP
